The original femmo group was formed in 2014(?)ish, and whilst sometimes referred to as a cult, we prefer to think of it as a community. During the COVID lockdown femmo grew to 10 different groups from a shitposting group to a food group to keep folks safe and connected during isolation. Femmo is a group of people that believe in the putting the voices of the most marginalised first, using privilege to uplift and care for our community using a mutual aid model and providing direct assistance to those in need.

Since our formation we have financially contributed to SISTERS INSIDE (Women that have been incarcerated), BRISSC (Brisbane Rape & Incest Survivors Support Centre) MUDGIN-GAL Womens Place Sydney, Frenmo Birthing Centre in Kenya and many more orgs, we have provided direct assistance through mutual aid to countless people in the community, from food vouchers, to cash for urgent rent to prevent eviction, medical care/bills, assisting people in DV situations, providing laptops to marginalised folks that need assistance with study.

We are so incredibly proud of our femmo family and our extended community.

Funds from these sales will go to supporting SISTERS INSIDE and to direct mutual aid, overseen by a team of ten admins.
